Website Privacy Policy
This page describes the management methods of the website with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it.
The information provided in accordance with Canadian privacy laws and guidelines provides instructions for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing, and nature of the information that the data controller must provide to users when they connect to web pages of their site, regardless of the purpose of the connection.
Data Controller
Following the consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The "controller" of their processing is Maxidom by Stanislav Morozan, located in Toronto, ON.
Place of Data Processing
The processing connected to the web services of this site takes place at the premises of Maxidom by Stanislav Morozan and the hosting service provider of the site, and is handled only by authorized personnel, including for occasional maintenance operations.
No data deriving from the web service is disseminated.
Personal data provided by users are used solely to perform the service or provision requested and are disclosed to third parties only if necessary for that purpose.
Types of Data Processed
– Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
These are information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by their very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment.
These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
– Data Provided Voluntarily by the User
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of data via forms on the site or via email to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular services on request.
Cookies
No personal data of users is acquired by the site in this regard.
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.
The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of user navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal identifying data of the user.
Finally, the site incorporates cookies and other elements (tags, pixels, etc.) from third parties (independent and for which the Data Controller has no responsibility) which also perform profiling activities and for which reference is made to the respective sites:
Newsletter
The email contacts used for sending the periodic newsletter come from voluntary subscriptions by the recipient, to which a confirmation request is always submitted, as well as from information acquired in a context of selling products or services of the Data Controller or in any case similar for which the Data Controller has a legitimate interest in sending communications and information about its events, products, services, and training courses.
It is emphasized that the contacts were not recovered from public lists of subscribers. If the communications are not of interest to the recipient, it is possible to avoid any further contact by clicking the appropriate link contained in each message or by writing to the addresses at the bottom, exercising the right to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
The newsletter is prepared using the MailUp service which may include the transfer of personal data to the USA under the protection of the Privacy Shield.
Optional Nature of Data Provision
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data for specific requests regarding products and/or services.
Failure to provide them may result in the inability to obtain what is requested.
For completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not part of the ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request information pursuant to Canadian privacy regulations, for the purpose of controlling the processing of personal data.
In these cases, the response is mandatory under penalty of administrative sanction.
Legal Basis and Possible Management of Consent to Processing
When necessary, outside the cases where the assumption of a pre-contractual, contractual, or legitimate interest obligation applies to both the Data Controller and third parties, and in any case after reading the information, the data subject is required to express their consent to the processing and communication of their data for the purposes and within the limits described, under penalty of the impossibility for the Data Controller to process the data to carry out and implement the services requested by the data subject or offered to them.
Processing Methods
Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and will be retained, in general, as long as the purposes of the processing persist, depending on the category of data processed.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illegal or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
Rights of Data Subjects
At any time, the data subject may exercise their rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, absence of automated decision-making) when provided and where applicable, against the data controller pursuant to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca); and, if the processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent, noting that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
